The Dreaded Blue Folder

on February 26, 2014

So here I sit at my IF doc’s office waiting for my first scan after my baseline and I see two couples leave with the dreaded blue IVF folder. These couples just got told they’d never have children naturally; that there is little fun in how they will have to have children, if it works at all…I know the tears and heartaches they are facing and I just want to give them a huge hug.

On a positive note, I’ve got a cluster on each side “growing as a group” with “a 10 in the lead”. Growing well enough we may retrieve a day early! Not really good for my or the hub’s schedule but I’m not about to complain.

So all is good and I can smile instead of wince when those shots come tonight! Wahoo!

  1. Good luck with your shots and your follicles!! Such good news they are growing as a group! Thinking about you! P.S. I also hate being in the RE’s office when someone gets bad news. I just hate it. It breaks my heart.
