Diapers and Doggie Pools

on June 1, 2014

Today I decided to use my 5% off everything at Target card, coupons, cartwheel app, and red card to do some serious shopping. $136 later I had a pack of long sleeve onesies (winter baby, ya know?), 2 jumbo packs of diapers, 1 jumbo pack of wipes, and 1 smaller pack of diapers and wipes. I’ve read up on how to stockpile but every site offers different advice so I need to just buy a few more so I can focus on other things. The furniture is just so expensive and I’m trying to save up for maternity leave because so much of it will be unpaid because of all the ivf monitoring appointments and the days from the miscarriage in December ate up my sick time. Tomorrow I have to sit down after work and do some serious budgeting.

In that same trip I also got a huge candle for our guest room, 2-2 pound protein powders for the hubs, a Father’s Day gift for my dad, 2 Father’s Day cards, AND a kiddie pool for Chunk! I saved $44!! Wahoo! Chunk absolutely LOVED the pool. I can’t wait to go outside with him next weekend! It was too cute!

  1. Buy some of those little kimono shirts for baby. In the beginning that was all we used – a wrap-style shirt, diaper and blanket (we had a winter baby too). There are so many diaper changes in the beginning it’s a pretty easy set up. Just my two cents!

Do you have a picture or link? I’m not familiar with that style. I love advice! Thank you!
