Ready set trigger

on September 15, 2015

Rough morning. Went to Labcorp to have my estradiol drawn and the computers were downs across the country and no one at the clinic was in to tell me what to do next. I pulled into work and they called and told me I had to make the 45 minute drive there to do the draw. Luckily while I was there they did my scan. Awesome dr told me I was good to go. We trigger tonight. A little more gonal f and menopur too, because hell, why not. No shots tomorrow! Woo hoo! A little work stress but a lot less than last time. Realized today I haven’t been taking baby aspirin but can’t remember why they tell us to take it to begin with and it hasn’t been mentioned this cycle so I hope it’s not a big deal. That’s all for now. Evans trying to eat a magazine.

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck on your retrieval. sending baby dust your way!!

  2. Yay and good luck, my friend!! 👏👏👏

  3. The baby aspirin is probably just a precaution. All the elevated hormones, particularly estrogen, can increase your risk of clotting. I have additional clotting factors, so I actually have to take aspirin and blood thinners when I’m TTC/pregnant.
